Then volunteers, many of them youths from local schools, stock trout in the pond. Trout range in size from 8 to 24 inches!

When the big day arrives, youth age 16 and under are invited to cast their lines and enjoy a wonderful day of fishing. While fishing is limited, kids from 2 to 102 get to enjoy the fun! Local businesses provide refreshments including hotdogs, water ice, pretzels and candy. It’s a great community celebration and a rite of spring in Doylestown, PA.
