The County Seat of Bucks County
As a major crossroads in a largely agricultural area, Doylestown became a central village in Bucks County, leading to its designation as the County Seat. The Bucks County Courthouse recently relocated to a brand new, state of the art Justice Center located across from the classic 1960’s-era post-modern courthouse that, after being the court’s home for over 50 years, is now home to the county’s administrative offices.
